Rob was a highly trained Olympic cyclist and we are delighted to have him in Belgium with Montcyclingtours. Rob represented Australia in the 92 and 04 Olympics in both track and road cycling, recipient of the OAM to “services to cycling” and 2 x Australian Road Cycling Champion. Rob trained, raced and lived in Belgium during the early to mid 90’s and knows the area well. His current focus is with his “Ridewiser”cycling business in Melbourne where Rob and his staff provide indoor ergo classes, on-road skills, tips, training programs, weekend rides and training camps. Rob is fantastic in ensuring people have lots of fun riding over hills, on the cobbles, well, anywhere really. Rob has a wealth of knowledge in cycling fitness and training for all rider types and will be a valuable asset in Belgium.
Monty is an accomplished athlete and competed and finished his first Hawaiin Ironman World Championship in 2014. His warmth and enthusiasm is infectious and we like to call him “front of house “, meaning he is the guy who entertains and informs. Monty lived in The Netherlands for a year during the mid 80’s and is where his passion for cycling began. When Monty is not entertaining his clients in Europe on cycling adventures, he is presenting, directing and producing lifestyle shows on TV.
